Vision Services/Eye Exams at O’B
In 2015, 20/20 launched a pilot partnership to service the Boston Public School District with student eye exams and free corrective eye wear for children ages 10 and up. With this partnership, 20/20 is coming to the John D. O’Bryant School of Math & Science.The eye doctor in the 20/20 mobile van will perform eye exams for students in a state- of- the- arts mobile clinic. The following services will be provided:
- Complete Eye Exams
- Electronic Prescriptions
- Prescription Eyeglasses
- Results of the Eye Exam
- Follow-up eye care instructions( Eyeglasses sent to the school)
Mass Health (no co-pay) covers 100%
Coverage by the following health insurance carriers may require a co-payment.
- Blue Cross Blue Shield
- Harvard Pilgrim
- Tufts Health Plan
- Fallon Health
- Eye Med
- Davis Vision
- United Health Care

PS** The 20/20 Mobile Eye Clinic will come to OB when the school nurses have received 25-30 completed forms.
When the school nurses have received at least 25-30 completed form, you will be notified of the Mobile Eye Clinic’s arrival date.
